"When compatibility ends careers - What leadership is doing wrong today"
Tuesday, 17/03/2026 / 05:00 PM - 07:00 PM / Online event
Permanent availability, presence, informal male networks and the tacit outsourcing of care work to women: All too often, these logics still characterize our working world and thus slow down female careers.
Under the title "When (of all things) work-life balance ends careers - what leadership is doing wrong today", Robert Franken reveals how common work-life balance models hinder women's professional success - even though they are sold as progress. He combines the demand for equality, new forms of work, sustainability, diversity and inclusion into a central question: How do we want to work in the future - and who bears the costs of our system?
The keynote speech is aimed at managers, HR managers, interested women and men and anyone who wants to question existing structures and redefine responsibility in organizations.
Participation in the lecture is free of charge. Further information and the opportunity to register can be found on the website of the Kontaktstelle Frau und Beruf Freiburg - Südlicher Oberrhein (under "Events"):
