We are the new ones - movie night & Wolke housing project - presentation with Solawis

Film + Solawi snacks + wine = enjoyment. Then we'll tell you how you can support us with direct loans or, as part of the community, find and create living space for others (not for sale, permanently affordable, cooperative, intergenerational and highly ecological).

In "Wir sind die Neuen", three old-68s move into a shared flat and clash with ambitious students - bringing together generations and surprisingly similar lifestyles.

The Wolke housing project is a colorful, intergenerational community that creates permanent, affordable, non-saleable living space for 70 people in the new Kleineschholz district. Our goal: an inclusive, sustainable and supportive home for all stages of life.

In cooperation with the Solidarische Weinberg and the Backhaus der Vielfalt (these great projects will be handing out goodies and flyers before and after the film and will be available to answer questions about Solawi memberships).

The Quartiersladen Vauban will also be donating some of the food.

FILM: WE ARE THE NEW ONES

"Who says you're old at 60? Anne, Eddi and Johannes certainly don't. They are around sixty, can't afford much and are therefore simply rebuilding their old student flat share. They want everything to be just like it used to be: sitting around the kitchen table until late at night, drinking wine, philosophizing about God and the world and listening to the old hits. But the new flat-sharing community has not done the math with the house community. Because above the three students from back then live three students from today. And they can't take a joke. They're studying for their exams and can do with anything - just no noisy 60-year-olds who don't play by the rules. It doesn't take long for the two generations to get into a hell of a fight. But what exactly is going wrong here? Have the old people not understood the signs of the times? Or do the young just look old?

WIR SIND DIE NEUEN is an enchanting generational comedy that describes the clash between two different age groups in a way that is as turbulent as it is subtle. With just the right amount of exaggeration and a lovingly revealing look at his characters, director Ralf Westhoff lets the old ideals of the 70s students collide with the new, changed reality: Collective meets career thinking and tea meets deadline pressure. The film shows that being young in the past and being young today are two completely different things. WIR SIND DIE NEUEN is a lively plea that the generations can benefit from each other much more than they think. They just have to talk to each other!

THE WOHNPROJEKT WOLKE (the newcomers in Kleineschholz)

The Wolke housing project is a colorful, intergenerational community that is creating permanent, affordable, non-saleable living space for 70 people in the new Kleineschholz district. Our goal: an inclusive, sustainable and supportive home for all stages of life.

We are creating highly energy-efficient living space in timber construction, focusing on the needs of future generations, creating communal areas and rehearsal rooms for musicians. Senior:innen shared apartments and cluster apartments cover the need for contemporary forms of living alongside 1-5 room apartments.

We are working with other initiatives to create a vibrant and inclusive neighborhood on the Kleineschholz site. As an active part of the umbrella cooperative "Wohnen für Alle eG", we realize non-saleable living space according to the principle of cost rent. Thanks to our sociocratic organization, we design the Wolke housing project in a collaborative and transparent way.
