Experience regional agriculture: Open farm weekend at the Kaiserstuhl

On September 13 and 14, 2025, selected farms in the Kaiserstuhl region will open their doors to all interested parties. Under the motto "By bike, hike or public transport - off to great farms on the Kaiserstuhl", the participating farms invite interested parties to get to know the diversity of regional agriculture and experience it with all their senses. Admission is free!

Dachswanger Mühle (Umkirch, 13.9.), Freuobst (Eichstetten, 13.9.), Gärtnerei Querbeet (Eichstetten, 13.+ 14.9.), Schambachhof (Bötzingen,14.9.) and Hofladen Rudmann (Wasenweiler, 14.9.) offer a varied program with guided farm tours, live music, tastings, information and food stands as well as a colourful children's program. From exciting insights into organic and rural farming to entertaining activities for children, there is something for all age groups.

Visitors can look forward to a variety of culinary delights. There will be vegetable, tofu, cider and wine tastings as well as exhibitions on the history of the region's food system and healthy eating. The gastronomy will be enriched by the Genusswerkstatt, among others. Musically, the weekend will be accompanied by live concerts with Echo Nomade, RosaFamosa, Rainer Ukulelenz, Miguel from Collectivo Nativo, Alsatian singer-songwriter Daniel Muringer and DJ sets by Brandy Zardinelli.

The event places great emphasis on sustainability. Visitors are welcome to travel to the event by bike, on foot or by public transport. In this way, they make an important contribution to climate protection and can enjoy and preserve the diversity of the region at the same time.
