from the end of 2028: communal, permanently affordable, cooperative, intergenerational and ecological living in Kleineschholz

Get to know our Wolke housing project!

We are a colorful, intergenerational community that is creating permanently affordable living space for 70 people in the new Kleineschholz district. Our goal: an inclusive, sustainable and supportive home for all stages of life.

We are realizing highly energy-efficient living space in timber construction, focusing on the needs of future generations, creating communal areas and rehearsal rooms for musicians. Senior:innen shared apartments and cluster apartments cover the need for contemporary forms of living alongside 1-5 room apartments.

We are working with other initiatives to create a vibrant and inclusive neighborhood on the Kleineschholz site. As an active part of the umbrella cooperative "Wohnen für Alle eG", we realize non-saleable living space according to the principle of cost rent. Thanks to our sociocratic organization, we design the Wolke housing project in a collaborative and transparent way.

In addition to senior:innen shared apartments, we still have a few 2-3 room apartments available, but there will certainly be one or two 1-5 room apartments available by the end of 2028.

For the normal apartments, you usually need a certificate of eligibility for housing, which means, among other things, a maximum annual gross income of €60,350 per 1-2 person household (each additional person or child €9,000) when moving in.

In addition, 1,100€ cooperative deposit per square meter (you get it back when you move out), under certain circumstances, this can also be conveniently financed via development loans, but this does not always work.

Barriers:

• The event room is accessible via a ramp located in the inner courtyard.
• The ramp has a gradient of 10% and is 110 cm wide. The turning area in front of the door is 140 cm wide. The door can be pushed inwards from the ramp to open it.
• Entrance door width: 110 cm
• Door width to the event room: 93 cm
• A barrier-free, gender-neutral toilet is available (with sliding door).
