Workshop MODULE 15 - Intuitive Urban Sketching in Freiburg im Breisgau
Saturday, 08/08/2026 / 10:00 AM - 01:00 PM /Colombipark Freiburg
Price: 35.00€
I’m Petty Heisler, an artist and designer. In my classes, I guide people through intuitive drawing and painting as a creative method for inner peace, self-expression, and playful perception—free from the pressure to be perfect or to perform, and connected to creativity, mindfulness, and the child within. In this workshop, we’ll leave the indoor space behind and dive right into the urban landscape with our sketchbooks and pencils. Streets, buildings, people, small details, and lively scenes will serve as inspiration for spontaneous and minimalist drawings full of expression and atmosphere.
Through urban sketching, we’ll discover:
• lively lines and spontaneous sketches
• a relaxed approach to capturing shapes and perspectives
• playful drawing right on the spot
• intuitive work in the sketchbook
• observation, mood, and urban atmosphere
Mindful observation brings city moments to life:
• Street scenes & passersby
• Facades, windows, and architectural details
• Cafés, squares, and urban green spaces
• Minimalist lines & personal visual language
Line by line, a vibrant sketchbook full of impressions, atmosphere, and expressiveness takes shape.
It’s not about perfection—but about perception, freedom, and the joy of spontaneous drawing. With just a few lines, vitality and personality come to life.
