Wonderful imperfection. Meditation seminar
Friday, 13/02/2026 / 06:00 PM / Waldhof e.V. - Academy for Continuing Education
"You have an appointment with life," says Thich Nhat Hanh. Unfortunately, we often miss it because we are waiting for favorable circumstances: the ideal partner, retirement age or enlightenment. The practice of mindfulness makes us realize that there is only this moment. Can we perceive and appreciate it in all its fullness, with its light and its darkness? Can we accept ourselves in our imperfection - and see that nothing is missing? When we have let go of our ideas of perfection, we discover the splendor of completeness in the midst of imperfection. We sit on the cushion or chair in a gentle Zen style. Participants listen to talks and guided meditations, sit in silence and do walking meditation in space and forest. Apart from two round-table talks, the seminar takes place in silence. An optional morning meditation will be offered at 7:00 am and an evening meditation at 7:30 pm. Overnight stays in the house are essential for building up inner silence and for this seminar concept. Participants are therefore required to book accommodation and vegetarian meals in the house in addition to the course.
Course leader: Irgang, Margrit. Margrit Irgang is a writer and meditation teacher.
