Word and sound for the soul in Freiburg Minster.

Albert Schweitzer's birthday 150 years ago is an occasion to dedicate an evening in the cathedral to his values and ideas. The Franco-German theologian, physician and church musician not only preached the idea of working "with heart and hands for his fellow human beings", he lived it.

Pastor Gabriele Hartlieb and Prof. Dr. Meinrad Walter will give impulses from Schweitzer's life and thoughts. The musical accompaniment will be provided by cathedral organist Jörg Josef Schwab, who will play organ works by Bach and Widor.
