This manufactory produces savory and sweet spreads as well as sauces, salted lemons and mustard specialties - right in the heart of Freiburg, in the Wiehre district.
Since 2013, the two chefs Michael Hofer and Philip Klingel and their team have been revolutionizing the art of preserving with "Hakuna Matata": only seasonal and, as far as possible, local ingredients are used in the jars; all products are certified organic, gluten-free and vegan. The company's now over 60 products are available to buy online or on site at the manufactory in Wiehre.
