House of the Graphic Collection (in the Augustinermuseum)

The House of Prints and Drawings is the central depot and at the same time a lively exhibition venue for around 90,000 works of drawing and printing art. The collection includes a broad spectrum of woodcuts, etchings, drawings, prints and photographs from the Middle Ages to the present day. In a separate exhibition cabinet, changing presentations are shown several times a year, highlighting selected focal points from the collection and making different epochs and artistic positions visible. The modern storage rooms enable the sensitive works to be stored professionally. The museum thus offers an important venue for all those interested in the diversity of graphic art and its history.
