The PEAC Museum in Freiburg is a lively exhibition venue for contemporary art. Works from the Paul Ege Art Collection and changing presentations of contemporary art are shown in nine light-flooded rooms covering around 1,000 m². The collection includes important positions in color painting, supplemented by works of minimal and conceptual art. The museum sees itself as a place of cultural education and participation and offers free guided tours, workshops, lectures and concerts. Art is conveyed here in a vivid and hands-on way. The PEAC Museum offers space for intensive art viewing, for dialog, debate and deceleration - always in the field of tension between work, space and viewer.
