Schopf 2 in Freiburg is a venue for the independent cultural scene, where around 80 events take place every year - from theater and literature to dance and performance, exhibitions and concerts. The space functions as a laboratory for experimental and interdisciplinary art projects that actively involve the special building with its studios and workshops as well as the neighborhood. Schopf 2 networks with local and international artists and communities, creates resonance spaces for global and social issues and invites active debate.
