Konviktstraße

When the sun's rays slowly usher in the summer, the blue rain grows like a garland across Freiburg's most beautiful alleyway. The purple flowers adorn Konviktstraße and its medieval houses.

Handwerkerstraße, which dates back to the 11th century, is considered to be the result of an outstanding renovation of the old town. With great attention to detail and a respectful approach to the historic structure, the charming house facades have been restored and the curved street layout retained.
