ISCB GMDS 2026 Conference

The 47th Annual Conference of the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics (ISCB) in conjunction with the 71st Annual Conference of the German Association for Medical Informatics, Biometry, and Epidemiology (GMDS)

The rise of AI techniques and increased public awareness of the value of data present great opportunities for data science disciplines. In particular, medical data sciences—as represented by the GMDS—and application areas such as novel treatment paradigms in medicine, which are the subject of lively debate at ISCB, promise significant impact from methodological developments, including shifts in research paradigms. This can best be achieved in collaboration with other disciplines—particularly mathematics and computer science—as well as through close collaboration with biomedical researchers, as exemplified by the Freiburg CRC Small Data.
