MUNDOLOGIA: Namibia

Namibia takes its visitors' breath away. Unbelievable landscapes reminiscent of desert planets characterize large parts of the country. An animal world that has had to adapt to the extreme conditions has created survival artists that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. And among the people who have managed to survive here, there are many who are doing their utmost to preserve Namibia's culture and its magnificent nature.

Dirk Schäfer has been traveling to Namibia for many years. For his new live reportage "Namibia - 10 Lives", he spent months immersed in a world of wonder and amazement, but also the vulnerability of this unique region.
