Francisca Clamer's artistic journey takes her to Italy time and again. It is not the pulsating metropolises that interest her, but the quiet spaces. One such space is in the middle of a pine forest in Maremma, Tuscany. The image, created on earth, has its origins in the connection between nature and people's inner spaces of perception.

Thus the photographs are created as an image of man in this space. The superimposition of light and shadow creates new figures and transforms people into kings and queens, dancers and a lady with a ring.

The cycle "canti insoliti delle cicale" was first shown at a municipal exhibition in Ticino. It can be seen at Galerie 4e from June 8 to August 31, 2024 inclusive.
