"Do good and talk about it." In accordance with this guiding principle, large companies and listed SMEs will in future be obliged to comply with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
Theaim is to enable you as a company to independently publish a sustainability report in accordance with CSRD after successfully participating in the convoy. In addition to a basic introduction to sustainability reporting, you will gain an in-depth insight into the principle of dual materiality and the possibilities for involving relevant stakeholder groups. Through best practice and group discussions, you will gain a practical insight into the application of the ESRS standards.
In addition, you will be able to identify key opportunities and risks for your company in connection with sustainability aspects.
Who should attend
The workshop series is aimed at two target groups: Firstly, to companies that are obliged to publish a sustainability report for the first time due to new legal requirements. Secondly, to those companies that already publish a non-financial report but do not yet apply the new European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

- Introduction and basics of CSRD Basics of sustainability reporting; principles of CSR reporting incl. comparison of GRI and ESRS; a look into practice.
Workshop 2 | Presence | 29.02.24
- Double materiality: Development from single to double materiality; inside-out and outside-in; the materiality matrix tool; impact analysis and group discussion
Workshop 3 | Online | 21.03.24
- Stakeholder engagement and ESRS: Identifying relevant stakeholder groups; Standardized questionnaire vs. stakeholder dialogue; Introduction to the cross-cutting standards (ESRS1 & 2)
Workshop 4 | Presence | 25.04.24
- ESRS-Social: Introduction to the ESRS social standards; application exercise; best practice for implementation in your own company
Workshop 5 | Presence | 06.06.24
- ESRS-Environment: Introduction to the environmental standards of the ESRS; application exercise, best practice for implementation in your own company
