Festival of playground sponsorships

Almost 70 play boxes enrich Freiburg's playgrounds with additional play equipment. Hundreds of volunteers look after the boxes and playgrounds.

Become a playground patron
The City of Freiburg's garden and civil engineering department (GuT) currently looks after 184 playgrounds, football pitches and skate parks. They are cleaned weekly and checked for damage and safety. However, a playground is not only alive through its play equipment alone, but also through the people and their activities on site. Do you have ideas for sponsoring a playground? There are countless opportunities to lend a hand. Whether individual volunteers, daycare centers, childminders or after-school care centers in schools - they can all sponsor any playground.
