"Advent Advent Advent and everyone is running"
Every year, people look forward to the Christ Child!
But as soon as the pre-Christmas period begins, the heavenly peace is over. Candles are put up, wreaths are tied.
Advent is when the wife clears out the cellar and decorates the apartment. As a man, you want to iron the laundry once a year, but all the sockets are occupied by fairy lights.
In the city centers, you struggle through the crowds in search of presents. On December 23rd, we are all ready and must realize: "I've finally got my presents together, now all that's missing are the presents for the others!".
It's best to switch to "Swabian gift-giving" right away. Don't buy anything else, it's better to always accept the packages for the neighbors during Advent!
And when the family comes along... in the past, you ate what was on the table. Today, the son is vegetarian, his girlfriend is vegan, the daughter has a pronounced intolerance to dungarees and the wife already puts milk in the sugar.
Christmas is actually the festival of love, but can we still talk about it when the wife bakes mountains of "Bredle" (Christmas cookies) but then hides them so that the husband doesn't eat them before Christmas? Then on Christmas Eve you have to go looking for "Bredle". Christmas becomes more like Easter.
However, we shouldn't forget that the right questions are asked during Advent, such as:
1. Can the three kings also be rated with stars?
2. why do I rhyme mulled wine with "I can't go to work tomorrow"
3. why do 9 out of 10 geese recommend roast beef as a festive meal?
And most importantly, at the end of the year, you need to make up with your partner: "Honey, if I offended, annoyed or disappointed you last year, then let me tell you: there will have been a reason for that."
Heinrich Del Core was born at Christmas time, his father is Italian and his mother is Swabian, so it's inevitable that things will get mixed up. And if, like Heinrich Del Core, you have a birthday on December 6th and your father has nothing to do with Santa Claus, then Merry Christmas.
The numerous award-winning cabaret artist and comedian impresses with his very entertaining and punchy Christmas program and creates a unique connection and closeness to the audience, who will always find themselves laughing at his hilariously told stories......
Heinrich Del Core was born in Rottweil as the son of an Italian migrant worker. After finishing secondary school, he initially decided to do an apprenticeship as a dental technician.
It was not until very late, in 1995, that he began to work in comedy magic. Comedy magic became stand-up comedy and cabaret. He left his job as a dental technician in 2000 and has been a successful comedian and cabaret artist on Germany's
stages ever since, as well as a guest on numerous TV programs.
