Performance: Listening Piece

In his artistic work, the composer Peter Ablinger (*1959) creates musical situations that often challenge the listener's ability to perceive. The artist's aim is to motivate listeners to sharpen their attention and perception of reality. The performance Listening Piece consists of a setting of around 30 folding chairs that are set up in the urban space and invite passers-by to sit down and perceive their everyday surroundings, especially acoustically.
