Annaplatz in Wiehre is a real insider tip for anyone who wants to experience authentic Freiburg and a small oasis of peace. At its center stands the church of St. Cyriak and Perpetua, also known as Annakirchle. Inside is the former high altar of the fortress church on Schlossberg (castle hill), the last remaining relic of the fortress that was blown up in 1744/45.
